Artist: Barbara Brier Title: Tulle Circles IV Dimensions: 10" x 10" Medium: Mixed Media on Wood Panel "These tulle circles started with a random photo of a bag filled with keys and key chains. It was manipulated into abstract circles through the use of various photo apps (not Al!) and then transferred onto tulle to add texture and the irregularity that often accompanies this transfer process. Acrylic paint has been added to blend the circles with their backgrounds."
A note from Access Psychology Foundation: Nine New York City women artists came together more than a decade ago, united by a shared commitment to supporting, challenging, and expanding their individual art practices. Over the years, the group has grown into a dynamic collective of painters, mixed-media collage artists, and sculptors whose work reflects a wide range of perspectives, techniques, and creative voices.
Together they have exhibited in acclaimed group shows in New York City and East Hampton, while many members have also presented solo exhibitions in galleries and cultural spaces across the country. Their artwork can be found in numerous private collections and continues to resonate with collectors and audiences alike for its originality, depth, and expressive power.
Beyond their creative work the artists share a strong commitment to giving back to the community through art. Each year, the group selects an exceptional non-profit organization or charitable foundation (God’s Love We Deliver, The Peconic Land Trust, Camp Sunrise) to generate through the donation of artwork meaningful financial assistance.
This year, Next Act Art is honored to support Access Psychology Foundation and the critically important work it does with at-risk youth and their families.
Your bidding will make a meaningful difference and contribute to the continued impact of this vital organization.
